Access to education has always remained a longed for luxury for underprivileged children in our country. To overcome that, for the first time in the history of our country the fundamental right to free and compulsory education for every Indian child was enforced in April 2010 through the landmark law, The Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education Act, 2009 more commonly referred to as the Right to Education (RTE) Act.
BIRDS as a socially responsible organization visit the house of children and motivate their parents to take part in the child right activities like children parliament, school health and social awareness programs. The activities will be organized to create awareness like children rally, talent competition, and child parliament.
The holistic child development is the ultimate goal of the BIRDS Children Parliament program and under this activity they have arranged and supplied education materials, special care through experienced teachers and volunteers, education exposures, conducting sports activities, paying school fees, extracurricular activities.
BIRDS as an Indian NGO for over years has worked with parents and communities to ensure lasting change in the lives of more than 1000 underprivileged children and numbers have kept increasing from 2014.
